In 2027 it falls on a Thursday; we add later years once their dates are published. Also in May 2027: International Day of Plant Health (12 May), Yom HaAtzmaut (12 May) and International Hummus Day (13 May). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
How we work out the date
It’s the 8th day of the fourth lunar month. South and Southeast Asia keep Vesak at the May full moon.
