Memorial Day is coming up.

About Memorial Day

A US federal holiday remembering the people who died serving in the armed forces. Many treat it as the start of summer.

In 2027 it falls on a Monday; in 2028 it’s on Monday 29 May, and in 2029 on Monday 28 May. Because it’s a Monday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in May 2027: World No-Tobacco Day (31 May), Spring bank holiday (31 May) and World Parrot Day (31 May). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
