About Memorial Day of the Republic (Hungary)
Memorial Day of the Republic is an observance (marked, but not a day off) in Hungary.
In 2027 it falls on a Monday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 1 February, and in 2029 on Thursday 1 February. Because it’s a Monday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in February 2027: St Brigid’s Day (1 Feb), World Wetlands Day (2 Feb) and Groundhog Day (2 Feb). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
How we work out the date
