Waitangi Day is coming up.

About Waitangi Day

Waitangi Day is the national day of New Zealand. It marks the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840.

In 2027 it falls on a Saturday; in 2028 it’s on Sunday 6 February, and in 2029 on Tuesday 6 February. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in February 2027: Constitution Day (Mexico) (5 Feb), Lunar New Year (6 Feb) and Ice Cream for Breakfast Day (6 Feb). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
