About National Day (Switzerland)

National Day (Switzerland) is marked on 1 August each year in Switzerland. It’s one of the Independence Days of different countries listed on Wikipedia.

In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 1 August, and in 2029 on Wednesday 1 August. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens.
