International Day of Yoga is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Monday; in 2028 it’s on Wednesday 21 June, and in 2029 on Thursday 21 June. Because it’s a Monday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in June 2027: June solstice (21 Jun), National Wagyu Day (21 Jun) and World Giraffe Day (21 Jun).
