World Press Freedom Day is coming up.

About World Press Freedom Day

World Press Freedom Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Monday; in 2028 it’s on Wednesday 3 May, and in 2029 on Thursday 3 May. Because it’s a Monday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in May 2027: Constitution Day (Poland) (3 May), Early May bank holiday (3 May) and International Leopard Day (3 May). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
