World Poetry Day is coming up.

About World Poetry Day

World Poetry Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 21 March, and in 2029 on Wednesday 21 March. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in March 2027: International Day of Forests (21 Mar), International Day of Nowruz (21 Mar) and World Down Syndrome Day (21 Mar). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
