About World Ozone Day

World Ozone Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Thursday; in 2028 it’s on Saturday 16 September, and in 2029 on Sunday 16 September. Also in September 2027: Mexican Independence Day (16 Sep), Malaysia Day (16 Sep) and National Guacamole Day (16 Sep). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.

How we work out the date
