About World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 10 October, and in 2029 on Wednesday 10 October. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in October 2027: Cuban Independence Day (10 Oct), World Porridge Day (10 Oct) and Mazingira Day (10 Oct).
