About World Malaria Day

World Malaria Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 25 April, and in 2029 on Wednesday 25 April. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in April 2027: Anzac Day (25 Apr), National Zucchini Bread Day (25 Apr) and DNA Day (25 Apr).
