World Lake Day is coming up.

About World Lake Day

World Lake Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Friday; in 2028 it’s on Sunday 27 August, and in 2029 on Monday 27 August. Because it’s a Friday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in August 2027: National Cherry Popsicle Day (26 Aug), National Burger Day (27 Aug) and National Pots de Crème Day (27 Aug). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
