About World Football Day

World Football Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Tuesday; in 2028 it’s on Thursday 25 May, and in 2029 on Friday 25 May. Also in May 2027: May Revolution Day (25 May), Lag BaOmer (25 May) and Towel Day (25 May). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.

How we work out the date
It’s on 25 May every year, as set by the United Nations.
