About International Equal Pay Day

International Equal Pay Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Saturday; in 2028 it’s on Monday 18 September, and in 2029 on Tuesday 18 September. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in September 2027: Fiestas Patrias (Chile) (18 Sep), National Cheeseburger Day (18 Sep) and World Water Monitoring Day (18 Sep).
