About World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Tuesday; in 2028 it’s on Thursday 15 June, and in 2029 on Friday 15 June. Also in June 2027: Ashura (15 Jun), National Beer Day (15 Jun) and National Lobster Day (15 Jun). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.

How we work out the date
It’s on 15 June every year, as set by the United Nations.
