World Children’s Day is coming up.

About World Children’s Day

World Children’s Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2026 it falls on a Friday; in 2027 it’s on Saturday 20 November, and in 2028 on Monday 20 November. Because it’s a Friday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in November 2026: National Peanut Butter Fudge Day (20 Nov), World Philosophy Day (Celebrated on the third Thursday of November) (20 Nov) and Revolution Day (Mexico) (20 Nov). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
