About International Day of Charity

International Day of Charity is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 5 September, and in 2029 on Wednesday 5 September. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in September 2027: National Cheese Pizza Day (5 Sep), Amazon Rainforest Day (5 Sep) and Labor Day (6 Sep).
