About World Bee Day

World Bee Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Thursday; in 2028 it’s on Saturday 20 May, and in 2029 on Sunday 20 May. Also in May 2027: Teachers’ Day (Puerto Rico) (20 May), World Metrology Day (20 May) and Global Accessibility Awareness Day (20 May). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.

How we work out the date
It’s on 20 May every year, as set by the United Nations.
