About International Albinism Awareness Day

International Albinism Awareness Day is one of the international days on the United Nations list. The UN uses these days to draw attention to an issue and to what people around the world are doing about it.

In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Tuesday 13 June, and in 2029 on Wednesday 13 June. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in June 2027: World Day Against Child Labour (12 Jun), Russia Day (12 Jun) and World Blood Donor Day (14 Jun).
