In 2027 it falls on a Tuesday; we add later years once their dates are published. Also in August 2027: National Rum Day (16 Aug), Indonesian Independence Day (17 Aug) and National Vanilla Custard Day (17 Aug). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
How we work out the date
It’s the full moon of Shravana in the Hindu calendar.
