In 2027 it falls on a Friday; in 2028 it’s on Monday 11 September, and in 2029 on Monday 10 September. Because it’s a Friday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in September 2027: Brigadeiro Day (10 Sep), National TV Dinner Day (10 Sep) and Teachers’ Day (China) (10 Sep). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
How we work out the date
It’s on 10 September every year. When it falls at the weekend, the day off can move to a weekday.
