In 2027 it falls on a Friday; in 2028 it’s on Saturday 15 January, and in 2029 on Monday 15 January. Because it’s a Friday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in January 2027: Chosŏn'gŭl Day (15 Jan), Armed Forces Day (Nigeria) (15 Jan) and Arbor Day (Egypt) (15 Jan). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
How we work out the date
