About Leif Erikson Day

Leif Erikson Day is marked on 9 October each year in the United States. It’s one of the observances proclaimed by US presidents listed on Wikipedia.

In 2027 it falls on a Saturday; in 2028 it’s on Monday 9 October, and in 2029 on Tuesday 9 October. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens.
