About Liberation Day

Liberation Day is a public holiday in Czechia and Norway.

In 2027 it falls on a Saturday; in 2028 it’s on Monday 8 May, and in 2029 on Tuesday 8 May. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in May 2027: World Donkey Day (8 May), World Binturong Day (8 May) and Mother’s Day (9 May). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
