About Sports Day (Japan)
Sports Day is a public holiday in Japan.
From Wikipedia: Sports in Japan, CC BY-SA 4.0
In 2027 it falls on a Monday; in 2028 it’s on Monday 9 October, and in 2029 on Monday 8 October. Because it’s a Monday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in October 2027: International Day of the Girl Child (11 Oct), Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day (11 Oct) and Thanksgiving (Canada) (11 Oct). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
