About 2. Advent (Germany)
2. Advent is an observance (marked, but not a day off) in Germany.
In 2026 it falls on a Sunday; in 2027 it’s on Sunday 5 December, and in 2028 on Sunday 10 December. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in December 2026: International Volunteer Day (5 Dec), Finnish Independence Day (6 Dec) and St Nicholas Day (6 Dec). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
