About Fête des pères (Switzerland)
Fête des pères is an observance (marked, but not a day off) in parts of Switzerland. It’s kept in Canton de Fribourg, Canton de Vaud, Canton du Valais, Canton de Neuchâtel, Canton de Genève and Canton du Jura.
In 2027 it falls on a Sunday; in 2028 it’s on Sunday 4 June, and in 2029 on Sunday 3 June. This time it falls at the weekend; some countries move the day off to a weekday when that happens. Also in June 2027: Russian Language Day (6 Jun), National Day of Sweden (6 Jun) and Islamic New Year (6 Jun). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
