Austrian National Day is coming up.

About Austrian National Day

Austrian National Day is the national day of Austria. It marks the declaration of neutrality in 1955.

In 2026 it falls on a Monday; in 2027 it’s on Tuesday 26 October, and in 2028 on Thursday 26 October. Because it’s a Monday this time, wherever it’s a day off it makes a long weekend of at least three days. Also in October 2026: St Cedd's Day (Essex) (26 Oct), Engineers’ Day (Tunisia) (26 Oct) and World Day for Audiovisual Heritage (27 Oct). From this page you can add it to your calendar, get an email before it, share the countdown, or show it full screen.
